2010 was quite a wild year for me... So many cakes, so little time :) I am hoping to take it a little slower this year. I have found that the more cakes I book, the quality is not as good! I LOVE DETAILS! Those details aren't as "persnickety" as I would like when I rush through them! On the other hand, I did receive that camera I blogged about in December! WoW! It is awesome! I cannot wait to photograph these goodies with this bad boy.... 2011-BRING IT ON!

I am sooo in need of a new camera to photograph these cakes! Ha! It's that giving season time of year, and I am feeling as if I should write Santa a letter asking if maybe we could barter some cake for a camera! :) I need one of those with a 5 foot lens! I think I'll try making him some cake pops instead of cookies for his plate this year... maybe, just maybe, that will send his taste buds into a euphoria of jolly joy and he'll leave me one under the tree! Awe... Fall... my favorite time of year! I just can't wait to see the trees turning & pumpkins on the doorstep. But Wait! That means fall & Halloween treats are coming!! Family & Friends, if you want some treats out of this girl, you should tell me now, cause my calendar is already filling up! Cake pops are a super fun treat for school or work, or maybe even for some of your favorite trick or treaters! They can be customized for any theme! Pumpkins are my favorite ones... with a jack-o-lantern face or not, they are super fall-y! You should get some!

I'm delivering an order today of 1/2 a dozen cupcakes as a "just because I love you" gift... So sweet... They are very simple, teal green icing with a little chocolate heart on top, yet if I were to receive these, they would bless me beyond measure... Maybe you know someone who could use an order of these "just because I love you" cupcakes?

Had a conversation today that solidified that I'm not the only one who loves cake for breakfast! Got me to thinking about a hot cup of joe and a creme filled cupcake in my hand... I cannot wait til morning... :) Think I'll make some bacon & egg cupcakes- not that flavor of course! Sugary sweet bacon & eggs...

Have you ever REALLY had a good red velvet cake? Not my fav in the past but OH MY WORD, I've found a recipe that will knock your socks off!! Your red velvet socks! Would be super great in cupcakes for ASTATE tailgating, Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July, valentines day, anything that "red" would be appropriate for!!! You've gotta try it!
